| The Centre for Curriculum Development and Examination |
The Centre for Curriculum Development and Examination (CCDE) is a public institution subordinated to the Ministry of
Education and Science. The Centre is financed from the state budget. Main activities of CCDE are:
. to organize development, approbation and improvement of the curriculum in primary education and universal compulsory secondary education;
. to develop educational standards and teaching and learning programs models;
. to organize affirmation and evaluation of the teaching materials;
. to consult and inform methodological and professional associations of teachers, administrations of educational establishments and
heads of the regional methods department;
. to develop and improve national examination system, to administer examinations and mark test papers;
. to organize elucidation of talented students and their participation in national and international subject olympiads;
. to organize and coordinate programs of educational research connected with curriculum and examinations;
. to organize and coordinate system of passing tests of the state language;
. to analyze, evaluate, organize, methodologically and informative sustain activities and development of teacher professional development.
