| Again-St Abandon |
Again-st Abandon (Again students - Against students' abandon) is a transnational
project carried out by organisations representing Italy, France, Latvia, Spain and United Kingdom, co-financed by the
European Programme Leonardo da Vinci.
The project refers to the high drop-out rates within secondary and further education, and aims at supporting the
re-integration and qualification of young people who have left the Educational System, are at risk of social exclusion
and unemployment and do not easily approach or benefit from counselling and guidance services.
To cope with the phenomenon of education abandon in general, means to encourage the return to School in order to assure
to all young leavers the opportunity to enter the labour market with a proper professional qualification, by promoting
the integration between the formal, non-formal and informal learning.

 |
| Context Analysis |
This phase is marked by an intensive research action, aimed at the editing
of a range of National Reports that will be used to elaborate the Comparative Analysis Report that will
introduce the Handbook for counselling and guidance operators. |
| |
 |
| Drop out Communication Styles |
This phase consist in the carrying out of Interviews to a selected group
of drop out, in order to highlight the reasons of abandon, and to deepen aspects as: the target group
consciousness levels, quality and quantity of the information concerning efficiency, functionality or
existence of training and counselling services and options on the local area. |
| |
 |
| Improvement of Counselling effectiveness |
This phase will be focused on the realization of a part of the distance
learning training path panned, addressed to information, training and guidance facilitators and operators.
In particular, Units and Modules will concern the developing either of skills and competences useful for the understanding
and reading of the territorial area on which facilitators and operators work; either of the ones linked to the most
effective and efficient communication methodologies and technique usable for "interfacing" the project target group.
|
| |
 |
| Innovative information/communication tools |
The phase focuses on the creation of informative tools prototypes to be
utilized by Training and Counselling Centres.
Will be then selected, in each country represented, a panel of no more than 4 operators and 4 young drop out,
that jointly will provide suggestions useful ("labour of ideas") to realize models of informative tools.
On the basis of those suggestions, will be then drafted prototypes of leaflets, posters, depliants and brochures, realized
paying attention to linguistic codes, graphic options and contents consistently with the potential users' cognitive styles.
|
| |
 |
| Advertising Plan |
On the basis of outputs and products of the preceding phase (Innovative
information /communication tools), will be realized an Advertising Plan on the theme of Education Abandon.
The Plan will consist in: graphic sketches, scripts, key spots, selection of media.
|
| |
 |
| Evaluation and Future Activities Planning |
The Phase consist in the evaluation of the whole research process and of
all products realized by external experts to whom will be asked to reconstruct ex post a Logical Framework
and to analyse strengths and weaknesses of both results and products.
The evaluation process and related outputs will be used to settle, if possible, the products realized and to start the
analysis on possible activities of follow up.
