| Drop out Communication Styles |
This phase consist in the carrying out of Interviews to a selected group of drop out, in order to highlight
the reasons of abandon, and to deepen aspects as: the target group consciousness levels, quality and quantity
of the information concerning efficiency, functionality or existence of training and counselling services and
options on the local area.
The interviews will be run on the basis of a sufficiently free scheme, so as to perceive and record
interviewed verbal and non verbal communication styles.
The analysis of the answers given, by a team of experts, will lead to the creation of glossaries and word
lists useful to prearrange the tools addressed to counselling operators which will support them during their
meetings with target group.
The research activity will be integrated by the consultation of the reference literature on topics as:
analysis of languages, codes, aptitude and cognitive behaviour of target group, focusing particularly on
defensive diaphragms that this kind of users usually activate in front of mentors and trainers.
GOALS
- To improve counselling, guidance, training and employment operators competences on relational modalities (verbal and non verbal behaviour) with young drop out.
- To start up the direct involvement of beneficiaries by means of language sharing methods and processes.
RESULTS
- Increasing of the efficacy and efficiency of the counselling services aimed at reintegration of young drop out within the Educational System.
- Recovery the young drop out's reliance on information and counselling services
- Increasing of the visibility and accessibility to information and counselling services.
PRODUCTS
- Draft Report concerning the results of the surveys carried out in all partners' countries and by the experts involved. The Report will describe, using a comparative and logical exposition, the predominant communication stiles adopted by the target group, focusing on eventual specificities related to the place of origin.
- Grid to be used during individual and collective interviews, grounded on glossary, list of entry words, questions sequence and symbols shared with users.
- Protocol for the operators' running of guidance and counselling interviews.
